“My dream is to work hard and manufacture professional furnaces that contribute to the steel industry,” says K-Tech Co., Ltd. CEO Kwang-Hee Lee.

The company’s manufacturing facility is located in the Namdong Industrial Complex in Incheon. The site covers 4,297㎡ (approximately 1,300 pyeong) and employs around 23 staff members. Although the company’s annual sales amount to roughly 6 billion KRW, both the office and workshop are filled with energy, reflecting the youthful leadership of the CEO and giving the strong impression of a company truly dedicated to its work.

“CEO Kwang-Hee Lee recently visited Hanoi, Vietnam,” a company representative said. “Competing with domestic companies and fighting for market leadership no longer holds much meaning. What matters most now is developing high value-added furnaces based on our own technologies and building the capability to compete in the global market.” The company therefore focuses heavily on improving technological capabilities and developing new products.

Since its establishment in 2002, the company has been recognized for its solid technical expertise and has supplied various furnace systems—including slag melting electric furnaces, molybdenum and tungsten sintering furnaces, stainless ferritic scrap sintering furnaces, ceramic sintering furnaces, vacuum furnaces, and high-frequency induction furnaces—to major companies such as Hyundai Steel, POSCO Plantec, and POSREC, which is remarkable for a company of its size.

Now marking its 13th year since founding, the company has achieved rapid growth, particularly after being designated as a Technology Innovation SME (Inno-Biz) in 2011.

During an interview at the Namdong Industrial Complex facility on the 10th, CEO Lee emphasized that the company will develop uniform high-temperature heat-treatment furnaces applicable to steel manufacturers and various industries, and will continue to provide customized products and services through responsive and reliable after-sales management.
